Mrs. Geneva M. White, 73, a 50-year member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge, died Tuesday in Castle Shannon Nursing Home at Rockville. She has been in failing health four years. She was a member of United Church of Christ at Russellville. Born March 5, 1900, in Putnam County, she was the daughter of William and Ida Shelley Wilson. She married Ernest White on Dec. 1, 1917, at Greencastle. The family had resided in the Waveland community since 1927. Survivors include the husband; two sons, Russell and Lawrence “Jack” of Waveland; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Bailey of Sarasota, Fla.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the United Church of Christ at Russellville with the Rev. Leo Thompson officiating. The body will lie in state in the church an hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Russellville Cemetery.
